Coastal Kayak Adventures was the dream of our founder and head tour guide – Tyler Caporale
After returning from military service in Afghanistan, Tyler set off on a mission to provide everyone an opportunity to witness the natural marine beauty of Florida and actively participate in environmental preservation.
His vision was to begin a small veteran owned and operated business to provide all of his guests the opportunity to find a closer connection with nature while having fun, being with friends and exploring new challenges through a kayaking adventure.
Environmental preservation is equally important to us and a significant percentage of our proceeds goes to support the Park and maintain the ecological marine environment!
We’re are thankful we’ve been able to launch Coastal Kayak Adventures and look forward to providing unforgettable memories to all of our guests.

How To Get To Lido Key From Sarasota
Distance: 4 miles – Time: 12-15 minutes
The quickest and most efficient route is directly through John Ringling Causeway. Once you are over the causeway, continue straight to St. Armand’s Circle. Half way around the circle, turn right and continue on John Ringling Blvd which will turn into Benjamin Franklin Drive.
Drive along Benjamin Franklin Dr. for approximately 3/4 of a mile and turn left on Taft Drive. Ted Sperling Park and Coastal Kayak Adventures is straight ahead!
